I got an email from a photo friend. He told me that he has owned 2 Russian cameras (bodies died, lens OK). I guess with these cameras the first 2 digits are the year the camera was manufactuerd, making my camera 60 years old, built in 1957. WOW! Heck that is older than me and I am getting up there. Soon will be 53, hopefully the 53rd year will be a productive one creatively, both in film making and photography.
