The Graflex in its day must have been so revolutionary, no wonder they made them forever. Even today shooting a 4x5 handheld while composing through a mirror (SLR) is pretty damn amazing. The other day when I was photographing with the camera in the early morning after a fresh rain it was so exhilarating, so liberating.
Making pics with the Graflex is a wonderful experience. Running and moving, composing at will, then the sweet sound of the shutter. Looking forward to creating in documentary situations thou I might have to push the Tri-x too 800 or even 1600. Imagine that! Pushed 4x5 negs! Anyway it should tons of fun. Am now looking forward to the arrival of my Rolleiflex, what joy will be had there?
