Bought rice today for the families, I was asked to buy some last night by dump resident I call the groom and his pregnant wife (3rd baby). I have known them since 2013, before they were married and had kids. Ended up getting 6 bags at 5 kilos a piece for a total cost of 924 baht. I also included a photo of found meat made last night. I saw the meat being divided up between 4 families (possibly more). Not sure how it is used, nothing is wasted here. It might be cooked and eaten by people, might be used for animals, am not sure. The lady in the photo is dividing up the meat, the orange headlight and pink boots she is wearing are donations.
Note* If any of you ever think of carrying 30 kilos of rice up 5 flights of stairs to your apartment, don't do it, it hurts! Will hand out 3 of the rice bags tonight along with headlamps. Thank you so much for those out there who paid for the rice, your all heroes.
