Masa Rwandan Sex Worker In Bangkok

A African lady grabbed my hand on Sukhumvit. She was a sex worker, her name was Masa, she lived in Rwanda and now was selling herself on the streets of Bangkok. Some people live such difficult lives. Did she lose family in the Rwandan genocide? I would like to learn more and photograph Masa and the other African workers, learn about their lives, families, and make portraits. Dangerous thou, they work with pimps I believe and might owe huge debts to the people who trafficked (?) them to Thailand. I need to educate myself more before proceeding forward. Masa was so sweet, have thought of her several times after leaving her. Maybe I will go back and try to find her, speak to her again and learn more about her life.
