I have decided to follow in the footsteps of a fellow I used to know. Years ago when we made pictures together he would always do a GPS reading at every place he set up his tripod. I always thought that was a good idea.
With the 15 year AMBROTOS KANATA project looming ahead of me I thought I would try the same thing. With every Ambrotype I will take and include a GPS reading as part of the story. Everything wii be recorded in my project KANATA diaries. I might also carve the GPS numbers into the collodion emulsion and use them in the titles,
To that end, tomorrow I am picking up a used mobile GPS device locally for $40. :)
