Here are a couple of more recent found negs from the dump. The first is a variation of a cooking photo done for an exhibition at the Larry Louie Gallery. In this version the young boy cooking is standing up more. The photo was made at the home of the young girl and baby girl from the earlier posts. The children were frying up an egg in a wok placed over an open fire. The young girl on the left I have photographed many times over the years, I do not think I have seen her smile yet (maybe on the ice cream day, not sure now). Will try to post a few more of her in the coming days. I think about her life often when I remember what the children face in the garbage dump on a daily basis.

The second picture is of the young girl from the of a family also posted earlier (5x7 family shack photograph). The hammock was located on the dumps edge, and she would play during the day, when people and heavy machinery moved and worked behind her. The noise behind her at times was rather incredible. Sometimes a dump grater or a garbage truck would pass very near behind where she was located.
