A Depressing Rejection Notice

Got a depressing rejection notice today from a Gallery in Dawson City Yukon Canada that I had such high hopes for. Another kick in the balls, this one hurts. Will any gallery of note show the "Forgotten Laughter" photographs? Will anyone ever hear the voices of the people in the dump? Will the children lives be viewed? Does anyone running a gallery even give a shit about these lives? I have failed yet again to this story and help the families.

Some rejected stories that will not be told.

Here is the rejection note I received.

Dear Gerry,

Thanks very much for your submission to the ----- Gallery for consideration for General Exhibition for 2017.

The quality of submissions was high, and the gallery committee - comprised of Dawson City artists and art-lovers - had many long conversations during the selections process. In 2017 we have only 5 General Exhibition slots, so the process was challenging.

We regret to inform you that yours was not selected for the coming year.

We appreciate the thoughtfulness of your work, and encourage you to apply again for the 2018 season, should you so desire.

Kind regards,

--- ------- / the --- Gallery Committee

Note* If I cannot get the people in Dawson city to show this work how can I ever get the folks that run the major galleries in London, New York, Paris, or Rome to? Am haunted by the eyes of those I have failed. Gerry you fucked up.
