Got to love Thai TV, last night I watched some Muey Thai boxing wondering if some guys from the Klong Toey gym would fight (they had a match scheduled for Lumpini Stadium). After the boxing I turned the channel and there was a beauty pageant on, Miss Tiffany Universe Pageant, which is a ladyboy beauty contest. There were more than a dozen smiling tall ladyboys competing against each other all dressed to the nines in beautiful gowns.
From the toughest of sports, to the strangest of pageants, both highly rated and admired by the Thai public on TV, blood and beauty!
