I was just looking at a Christie photography auction catalog and was
inspired by a photograph I saw. The pic was made in 1958 by Dorthea
Lange and is called Korean Child. The photograph made me want to do a
series of very close face shots (just the face I would not even show the
ears in the composition), of the Burmese children at the Mae Sot dump. I could do a series of these type photographs with the eyes opened and
closed. I could highlight the innocence and beauty of the children and
show the Thanaka paste they wear (partly for beauty and partly as a
sunscreen). Another in a long line of photo series to consider doing.
