I did a walk through Patpong the original redlight area of Bangkok last night. Patpong now is more a night market, restaurant place than it a gogo, pingpong ball show area. I noticed couple of strange things, they now sell dildos and vibrators on the street in the stalls along with the counterfeit bags, dvds and watches. In the past in this sort of merchandise was never sold in the open in Thailand, guess times are changing. For your information the small size goes for 1000 baht $33 CAD and the super duper size, full movements soft skin version runs at 6000 baht $200 CAD (just in case your into a dildo buying spree when you visit Bangkok) : ).
On a more serious note I saw a farang on the street with angry lust full eyes watching 2 youngish Thai bargirls, it was pretty ugly. When I was at a Pizza Hut restaurant I saw an older gay farang sex tourist (60?) with his much younger Thai bf (21?), they exchanged maybe 10 words during a 45 minute meal, it was painful to watch.
