Just
watched a very important film and so sadly beautiful, "Indian Horse", which is the the story of a
young boy, teenager, then man and his experiences as an indigenous
person living in Canada. The story details the terrible world of the
residential schools, where indigenous children experienced physical and
sexual abuse and where many thousands died. The movie is also about a
young mans love of hockey and how that was taken away from him by the
racism and prejudice of white society. Please give the movie a watch if
you can, everyone needs to see this film and we all need to learn from
it.
