A sight seen at a local Thai shopping mall in Bangkok. Three old farang (western) males, one very obese, being followed through the mall by 3 much younger Thai men. The farang were 60 to 75 the Thais 20 to 30. The farang were in control, looking curious and proud as they walked along, the 3 Thai held their heads down. They seemed shy and were probably embarrassed, they knew that everyone in the mall knew their status and occupation. The docile way they followed their bosses reminded me of well trained animals following their owners on the street. They sort of healed behind at a respectable distance. A sad way to live life, selling yourself like that. Why can the farang lead the Thais about like that? MONEY! Rather sickening.
