With Some Fisherman

I visited Mahachai today which is 1 hour by bumpy train from Bangkok. Mahachai is a fishing town with a large seafood market. The highlight of the day was 1 hour or so that I spent on 2 docked fishing vessels interacting and photographing the crew. It was fun to joke and speak to all of them. The only 2 that were too shy to talk were two young teenage(15?) boys from Burma. I shot a bunch with the Canon digital which luckily I had brought along. Will post those photos on my return to Canada. Today's adventure was another example of the importance of speaking some Thai, it helps gain access to photo ops.
