I started looking through the work of the photographer Roy Decarava again recently. I have always admired the beauty of his prints and vision. Check out this 20 minute video profile on him, they show a bit of his shooting and photographic philosophy, they even show him in the darkroom, he was a master printer.
Hearing this man speak is inspiring, please take a listen if you have a chance. Roy DeCarava died at 89 in 2009. He left behind a vast, important and beautiful body of work.
