I found this interesting from last nights viewing of the Rembrandt book, its a detail from something called "Anna accused by Tobit of stealing the kid". It is strange to see the similar positioning of the hands, head and closed eyes in this painting by Rembrandt done in 1625 and the dad portraits done a few days ago". This is all poor coincidence of course as I knew nothing of the Rembrandt work until last night, still it's fun to see how everything is interconnected both in art and the human experience. I wonder what a man like Rembrandt would think of photography.
