Mark Osterman (Facebook Friend), maybe the most knowledgeable world expert on alternative processes helped me today with my salt printing.
To achieve deep tonal salt prints he recommended. Keeping it simple, a salt sensitizer with a 1.5% salt content, a silver nitrate percentage of 15% and to use a very good negative!
Having the percentages correct and the negative just right makes for truly beautiful deep toned salt prints.
