15 years of making wet plate ambrotypes (maybe negs) for the project AMBROTOS KANATA is looming ahead of me. I thought it would be a good idea to study more work from the great wet plate photogs of the past. To that end have bought two new books, one on Robert Fenton and a second on Fenton and Julia Margaret Cameron. I have found the best way to learn to make new pictures in the present is to study the work done before. Studying Cameron and Fenton, will be a joy.
