A poor soul froze to death yesterday in Edmonton, in a populated area outside a downtown area rec center. A terrible way to die, forgotten and freezing to death. Police cannot even identify the victim. There was a wind-chill temperature of -38 C on Sunday.
After reading about this tragedy yesterday, I cannot stop thinking of this mans death. It is 2019, we live in a rich city in a rich country, yet this shit still happens. The world has to be a better place than that.
Bundle up people and try to stay out of the weather if you can. Not all of us have nice warm homes to hide in, please help those who lack a place to shelter from the cold.
