Young Ali

Last night looking through a Christie's photograph auction catalog I found a wonderful simple portrait by Paul Strand. The image is of a young Egyptian boy made in 1959. I love the dignity and strength of the portrait, this is what I want to do, make photos of ordinary folk that shows a trueness to their selves.
