Do not know if Khun Dom is still alive. I could not find him during my 2022 visits under the freeway. His left arm was injured and shrunken, he could not move it at all, just carried it about with his other hand. He was selling small pills to Thais that would come by on motorbikes. Probably "Yaba" , crazy medicine, which is an amphetamine of some kind.
