This pic has a bit of a story.
So I have been photographing with the families at the dump since the beginning of 2013. Recently in 2022 when I was walking the dump homes one of the men I knew from 2013 and who I photographed from that period, came to speak to me. He had an old photo on the wall of his home that he took down to show me. The photo was a color snapshot picture I had made of him and given him back in 2013 or 2014. He still had the image, this is it today. Humidity and heat destroys photos in the dump, but he was still proud of it, and put it back on the wall of his dump home.
