Sent out the submission THE FAMILIES OF THE DUMP, PDF file to 20 Canadian galleries. Even sent an email to the head of photography at the National Gallery of Canada (where I dream to be exhibited someday-Canadian Photography Institute Galleries).
Hopefully something will come of this. Will do up PDFs for my other projects in the coming weeks. Did not follow all the unique rules for all the individual galleries but at least got the dump series of photos out there for people to consider.
If I get a show, and they pay artist fees, artist talks fees I will as usual donate everything back to the families in the dump, buying goods for them to use.
Update*Sent out another 4 or 5 PDF submissions to a some more galleries. Also so sent out a few to photo contacts around Canada. Just trying to get the word out about these images, with the hope of telling this story, the story of the families, my friends, to a larger audience.
