On
a very selfish personal note. The great Canadian photographer Edward
Burtynsky is part of the UNB permanent collection at the Art Centre (he donated work).
Burtynsky is a guy who I have always looked up to and admired. I have
many Edward Burtynsky photo books, have studied his photography
extensively and look up to him as a role model.
Now
to have 4 or my images in the same collection as Burtynsky, feels good!
There is a possibility long after I am dead that a Burtynsky print and a
Yaum print will hang side by in the same show at the Art Centre or
elsewhere.
Whats not to love about that! Dream come true type stuff.
