The Voigtlander lens I wrote about a white back dates to 1884, 80 years before I was born. That is a nice number. This lens would be a great portrait lens for the KANATA project. I could use it to make portraits up close on faces with a very shallow depth of field on clear glass or black glass (ambrotypes).
