When shooting available light video only, I think I will be better served by the Canon 5D Mark 3. So if I am filming in peoples homes at night in the dump with no outside light source the Canon will probably be the better way to go. The Canon will allow me to shoot at 8000 ASA with some noise, where as the BMPCC only allows shooting up to 1600 ASA, that is a big 3 stop difference. I can go quite a bit higher with the Canon if I can accept the very loud noise that will result. With external light source the BMPCC works better for me, but when shooting in very low light without the external light it will have to be the Canon.
