That is why I always get pissed in movies (like THE WORLD OF SUZIE WONG, FRIDA). Where the supposed artists says "I want to find out if I can make a living with my art"
You do art because YOU HAVE TO DO ART, you have no choice in the matter. You do not do art because you want to make a living, you do art because it is in your heart and soul, and your life seems meaningless without it. The creation of art, sustains you not financially but rewards your heart/soul/mind, it gives purpose and meaning to everything. It brings you a deep internal happiness, that is more valuable than any dollar signs will ever be.
