There are more images but I need to go to bed for tomorrows work. I promised the lady I buy food from that I would buy her chicken tomorrow to help feed some of the people "under the freeway". Feeling a bit sick today, stomach issue, hope I am better by the morning.

A Positive and Hopeful Reaction

Khun Apple's photo appears to be generating a significant impact. I posted it on a Facebook photo page 16 hours ago and have received numerous comments regarding her life (123 likes). The comments express hopeful sentiments that she will find a means of escape. I will be departing my Bangkok apartment shortly. I will look for her “under the freeway” and we will buy her some food.

Yes the character she plays is a male photographer in revolutionary Indonesia, Billy Kwan (Hunt won an Oscar). Kwan is a person show loves and respects the people he photographs with his whole heart. THE YEAR OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY. One of the films (Killing Fields also) that inspired me to photograph in Asia. I agree with his philosophy, you help those in front of you and do not worry about things that are bigger than you. When I give a donated doll to a child living in a garbage, her life is a tiny bit better than she was before. You do what you can do. You add your light.

The Many Faces of Khun Apple!

I have photographed Khun Apple five days in a row now. Everyday she sorta has a new look, new expressions, new feelings. Everyday she looks a bit different. I am not sure how she manages it but she does. The four pics are from days 2-5. She is holding some of the donated rice in the first, day 4 pic.
