Lately I have been seeing more and more of the donated hats in the dump. Everywhere I go now I seem to see one of the hats that was donated this trip or the last trip in November/December 2015.
Yesterday as I walked in the dump I had a man who I did not know come up to me smile and take off his hat and show me. It was a red contractor cap that I had handed out earlier, probably back in November 2015. The hat was now all beat up, but the man wore it with pride. Today at the birthday party I noticed 3 different contractor hats. The other day I saw several hanging in a dump shack. The hat plan has turned into a good idea. Hats are a small thing but every little bit helps better here in the dump being used than back in Canada gathering dust on a shelf.
