Sick As A Dog

In my 19 or years as a full time night guard I have never taken a sick day. I have never phoned in sick in all that time. Today I almost lost that record. I think I have some kind of food poisoning, feel very nauseous and the toilet and I have become very good friends. I might have over done the darkroom work this week, which weakened me because I did not get enough sleep. Have not felt this bad for a long time, probably since I was vomiting in Laos in the tour van while the driver was trying to pick up the girl in the front seat, a fun romantic story from a past blog. I need to get through tonight and tomorrow night and my record holds, time to take it easy.
