Running down the negs I still am considering makes could lead to making 3 more photographs. The crying baby in garbage will be a
difficult neg, the child walking into the dump so so difficult and the
mother and baby the easiest of the bunch. I might try to do some test
strips of these negs in the comiing days and make a final decision what I
want to print and what not to print. I am quickly running out of time
so need to get on with things and start the toning, bleaching and
framing. Besides that I will only have room for 14 maybe 15 "Familiies
of the Dump" photos in the exihition (along with 5-6 dad photos).
20 prints is a decent size show, out of the 5 more majorish shows I have had it will rank 3rd on the list.
1) "Train is Coming" at Kaasa Gallery, Northern Jubilee Auditorium (37 16x20 prints).
2) "Body Sellers" in New Orleans as part of PhotoNOLA 2014 Photography Festival (26 16x20 prints).
3) "Life on the Margins" Families of the Dump" and "Dads Last Days" pics at the Louie Gallery as part of Exposure Photography festival (21 16x20 prints?).
4) "Fading Lives" Louie Gallery (3 20x24 and 12 16x20 prints).
5) "Human Voices" at Visual Arts Alberta (11 20x24 prints).
