I have mixed feelings on this, another part of our past, another part of mom and dad is gone. Was asking $5000 CAD, settled for $4300 CAD. Will use the money to pay house/gas/electric bills for my sister and myself.
Dad loved his van, feel sad to let it go. It was also an important tool for my sister and mother when she was going through her divorce in Eastern Canada.
I hope dad would be happy with the sale price, I think he would be OK with it. The van is in pretty good shape overall (some body damage) and was last running in 2015. The new owner is taking full responsibility on getting it running again, adding a battery and removing it from the house driveway.
