Picked up 2 new wet plate books tonight off Amazon. The first is Quinn Jacobson's book on making wet plate collodion negs (I own another one of his wet plate books and love it). The second is a cheaper book from a wet plate writer/photographer I do not know, George H. Berkhofer. Hopefully these books will add to my knowledge of the process and eventually to some powerful work. Learning photography is always so exciting, I have so far to go, but it is a wonderfully fun journey!
