A couple more platinum images from yesterday’s darkroom work. Both of these were shot in the dump as part of the 12 year THE FAMILIES OF THE DUMP, photographic series, Mae Sot Thailand. The photographs have helped raised over $10000 CAD in donations for the families.
The first (girl with doll) is a 35mm Tri-x photo made in a Leica rangefinder the second is from a medium format digital Hasselblad camera. Two very different tools but with the magic of digital negatives. Platinum prints are possible. You got to love the melding of the older and newer technology, allowing for endless creativity!!
