Got my 2x Leica extender in the mail today from Germany. It seems to be quite a bargain at $54 USD plus $10 shipping with no extra duty/tax costs. I tried the extender on my 60mm R macro lens and it works great, with a 1 stop loss of light as expected. The small light piece of glass works with all my R6 cameras as expected. It also works with my 35mm and 24mm R lens but I will not use it there. I like the idea of being able to turn my 60mm f2.8 into a 120mm f4 by simply carrying a light piece of Leica quality glass in my camera bag. A nice buy I think. I will probably take it with me to Thai, just in case.
