I did two more galleries in New Orleans today, the Odgen Gallery of Southern Art and Contemporary Art Centre (CAC). I saw 50 large prints from the new Burtynsky series "Water"
Other highlights included a wonderfully presented Sally Mann Southern landscape collodion neg print and prints by Bellocq, Shelby Lee Adams. I also saw work by several photographers I do not know, work I liked a lot, I wrote down several names and will study these new photogs when I return to the land of snow.
A fun relaxing day, am now getting ready for the PhotoNola Gala.
